To learn more about Lippes Mathias, visit our recruiting website at NYC office of Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We are seeking a self-starting candidate with superior organizational skills to support several attorneys in the practice group. The successful candidate will support the team in reviewing and processing legal documents and assisting with matters related to litigation. Responsibilities will include:Assist in the formattingdrafting of legal documents including creating of table of authorities andor table of contents.Monitor and update attorney and docket calendar(s)File legal documents with the Federal and District Electronic Court Filing Systems including ITC ProceedingsPreparation and organization of documents and binders for trial including exhibitsCreatemaintain electronic directoriesCreatemaintain filingPrepare and send out transmittal lettersSave, print, scan, and file all transmittal documents on each fileDelivery Requests when necessary Our ideal Paralegal will have:A minimum 5 years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably with Intellectual Property (IP)Accurate typing speed of 65+ wpmGeneral office and computer experienceAbility to maintain composure under pressureReliable attendanceExperience with editing, revising and drafting of legal documentsKnowledge of local, state and federal court rulesWorking knowledge of Pacer Systems and ECF and ITC Proceedings SystemsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to complete projects with little directionAbility to use discretion and handle confidential informationAbility to meet deadlines and produce high quality work productsAttention to detail and excellent organizational skillsExperience with document management systems such as ProLaw and iManage Salary range DOE: $85,000-$120,000year The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
