Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Project Engineer to join one of our clients in Newark on a contract basis paying $70-80 per hour dependent on experience. This role requires a skilled professional with a background in chemical process engineering and field experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a team.QualificationsExperience: Bachelor's degree in EngineeringProven experience working in a small start-up environment, with a focus on process engineering and project executionStrong field and on-site experience, including hands-on involvement in project deliveryFamiliarity with electrical design, equipment purchasing, and documentation processesResponsibilities:Lead and execute small capital projects from planning through commissioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement equipment, electrical, and piping systemsOversee the purchase of equipment, ensuring timely procurement and deliveryApply your knowledge of heat exchangers, pumps, and piping systems to ensure proper system integration and performanceEnsure all projects comply with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, delivering projects on schedule and within financial constraints.The client are looking to hire with high priority and are looking to start interviewing as soon as next week.
