Director Operational Risk

They are expanding their wholesale banking division and seeking an experienced Director of Operational Risk to build and implement a robust first line of defense program.Role Overview:As Director of Operational Risk, you will lead risk management for our wholesale banking division, developing programs to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor operational risks. This role will work closely with senior management to establish a proactive risk culture and integrate risk management into daily operations.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement a comprehensive first line of defense risk framework for wholesale banking.Lead risk assessments, control testing, and incident management to proactively manage operational risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk mitigation strategies align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, or related field (Master's preferred).8+ years of experience in operational risk within wholesale banking.Proven expertise in risk frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment methodologies.
