The position is a 12-month temporary role that will be converted to full-time. The position will be located on the West Coast, is primarily remote, but will require occasional travel to various sites in northern California. This role will require attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. We are looking for a self-starter with a collaborative attitude. You will partner with multiple stakeholders, focusing on strategic improvements for the organization.Responsibilities -Oversee demand and supply planning function for a complex and diverse set of materials exceeding $50M in annual throughput.Develop material demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation, for multiple time horizons. Review and release purchase requisitions, initiate stock transfers, and expedite with vendors as needed to meet project start dates.Closely coordinate and communicate allocation plans in the event of material shortages.Provide off hours material procurement and expediting support during storms and otheremergencies, Interact with program management, construction, and business finance organizations regularly to identify forecast drivers, refresh assumptions, and build consensus.
