You'll be designing and optimizing systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and This Role, You Will Design, develop, and support database applications for our data systems Design solutions using Oracle and PLSQL technologies Conduct performance tuning, schema changes, and database releases Write scripts using Unix shell script andor Python Provide production support off hoursweekend, when neededQualifications A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with database development and Oracle database administration Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline or its foreign equivalentHands-on experience building solutions in relational databases in Oracle Experience working with large data sets (terabytes) Shell or Python scripting and programming skills ETL, SQL, PLSQL database tuning, and partitioning experience Strong communication skills and experience working directly with end users Hadoop or Big Data technologies experience (preferred)
