We produce The Winning Edge podcast, hosted by Olympic Gold Medalists Noah Lyles, Grant Holloway, and Rai Benjamin, and have three more podcast productions in the works with NFL, NBA, and other Olympic talent.Position OverviewAs the Head of Production, you will lead and oversee all aspects of Offside's podcast production. This role requires a visionary with hands-on skills and a deep understanding of the podcasting landscape. You will bring our podcasts to life, from managing show logistics and content editing to crafting a compelling visual identity and social media strategy. A key aspect of your role will also involve keeping production and storytelling on track, ensuring that every episode delivers an impactful and cohesive narrative.Key ResponsibilitiesPodcast Show Management: Lead and coordinate end-to-end podcast production, from initial concept to final episode.Editing & Post-Production: Execute or oversee audio and video editing to produce high-quality, professional podcasts both in long-form and short-form videos. Content Vision & Strategy: Develop and drive the creative vision for each show, ensuring alignment with Offside's brand and the athletes' personal anizational Oversight: Manage timelines, episode schedules, and production workflows to ensure smooth and timely delivery.Maintain Storytelling Focus: Keep the storytelling on track across episodes, ensuring each podcast maintains narrative cohesion and engages the audience.Videography: Capture and produce video content to accompany podcast episodes, enhancing storytelling and visual engagement from behind-the-scenes content to the podcast itself. Social Media Strategy: Create compelling social media content that amplifies each show and engages listeners across platforms.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for all aspects of production, ensuring a consistent and professional listening experience.RequirementsProven experience in podcast production and management, ideally with a focus on sports content.Strong editing skills in both audio and video production.Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Videography expertise, with a keen eye for detail in visual storytelling.Social media proficiency, specifically in growing and engaging audiences around audio-visual content.A background in sports media, with a passion for the sports industry.Creative, adaptable, and highly organized, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
