What You Can Expect Location San Francisco, CA (Remote) Work Type Full time Position Associate Attorney, Environmental Litigation and Counseling (Partnership Track) Experience Required Approximately three years of experience in environmental litigation and counseling. Familiarity with state and federal environmental laws , particularly those related to: Hazardous and solid waste, Water and air regulations, Endangered species protections, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Land use litigation experience is a plus. Role Responsibilities Engage in environmental litigation and administrative enforcement matters. Provide counsel on environmental permitting , due diligence , and regulatory compliance. Draft and manage legal documents, including: Pleadings, motions, and written discovery responses, Managing document discovery processes, Taking and defending depositions, Arguing motions in court. Advise clients on various environmental matters and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates will demonstrate Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the California State Bar. 3-5 years in Environmental Law Litigation, Land Use Law experience is a plus..
