Loan Servicing Specialist

Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day loan servicing operations, including processing invoices, payments, and sending wires. Process and support a range of loans, including basic loans, bilateral, and syndications, involving deals with other banks such as SOFR and prime-rate loans. Support special asset groups (SAG), Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, and underperforming or non-accrual loans. Maintain loan portfolio balance, adhering to the first-in, first-out methodology for traditional loans. Collaborate with loan processing teams to ensure each loan has both a primary and backup point of contact. Utilize AFS Level III and/or Vision systems to manage loan servicing effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience in loan processing, with additional experience in specialty loan servicing such as syndications and non-accrual processing. Familiarity with handling syndications, bilateral, and SAG/SBA loans. Strong knowledge of SOFR, prime, and other bank dealings. Background in working with loans that do not require a high volume of closed loans. Skills and Competencies: Proficiency with AFS Level III and/or Vision systems. Team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining an accurate, balanced portfolio.
