We offer exceptional pay and benefits (PTO available on date of hire, Priority Health Care, Dental, and Vision, 401K, etc.) Job Summary: This position is responsible for building pallets and crates for completed orders ready to be shipped out of the Warehouse. This role is essential to ensure the safe delivery of completed client equipment and product orders. Essential Duties: Assemble and build crates, skids, pallets and/or other special packaging. Ensure the crate is clean and in good condition. Ensure finished product adheres to Terex quality standards. Maintain and care for company equipment and property. Demonstrate safe lifting techniques and adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and guidelines. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, clean and organized. Wear the proper safety equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in crate building, as well as hand and power tools. Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack is a plus. Skills/Qualifications: Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment, and to interact with all levels of staff and personnel. Ability to follow detailed instructions and written procedures, and to demonstrate safe decision making in all aspects. Ability to prioritize work based on safety, quality, and daily productivity demands. Ability to use hand and power tools, including nail guns, staple guns, saws, drills, etc. Ability to read and use a measuring tape proficiently, as well as to apply basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat and cold. Repetitively lift-up to 40 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time. The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to handle, feel and reach. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes). Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination.
