This individual will possess the capability to analyze and comprehend design objectives, enabling them to generate technical design solutions that are both efficient and effective. Furthermore, they will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring seamless coordination of the design process across all project stages. Leveraging their expertise in building engineering systems, materials, codes, and construction technologies, they will contribute to the comprehensive design execution of projects.Qualifications:Is proficient in Engineering software skills, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, as well as electrical engineering systems design softwareEngineering knowledge related to building electrical systems and multiple building types7-10 years of project work experienceHave successfully completed related post-secondary educationRegistered with a relevant professional engineering associationResponsibilities:Integrating architectural design elements and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and jurisdictional regulations when designing various building components.Generating drawings to support construction projects by evaluating engineering design requirements.Conducting engineering tasks such as calculations, researching codes, materials, and building systems, laying out components, and determining program and building areas.Assessing site conditions, including zoning regulations and constraints, and conducting site surveys and field inspections to accurately document existing and new construction piling and interpreting technical data to draft engineering specifications for Project Manuals.Reviewing project deliverables, services, and shop drawings to verify adherence to project documents, applicable codes, and corporate quality standards.
