Our client is one of the world's leading law firms. They have an amazing opportunity for an HR leader to join their firm as a Sr. Manager of Employee Relations developing and shaping the firm's employee relations function. Boston, MA (Hybrid) $175,000 - $200,000 + Bonus + Benefits Responsibilities: Lead workplace investigations of sensitive or complex issues, collaborating closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer, Director of Human Resources, and other stakeholders. Ensure consistency in conducting workplace investigations and approaches. Provide quality service by responding promptly and professionally to internal stakeholder inquiries. Collaborate with colleagues across the HR - Professional Staff team and other departments. Work with HR Business Partners to ensure managers use standardized templates for written warnings and performance improvement plans. Guide and coach managers on crafting thorough written warnings and performance improvement plans. Oversee firm compliance with federal and state employment regulations, ensuring policies, postings, and trainings are current. Serve as the owner of employee and HR policies, drafting and modifying policies in response to emerging trends; work with HRIS, payroll, benefits, and legal counsel as necessary. Document interviews, summarize findings, and provide clear conclusions for each investigation. Lead the annual policy affirmation process in partnership with the HRIS team. Develop recommendations to improve compliance and reduce risk. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and areas of risk, updating the CHRO and Director of HR regularly. Maintain electronic and paper files in alignment with current firm policies. Actively participate in training to stay updated on HR trends and employment law changes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner. Experience managing employee relations and performance issues. Strong facilitation skills with proven ability to influence and advise on a broad range of employee relations and HR compliance matters.
