Salary Range: $120-$150K/YR WHAT WE OFFER OUR GENERAL MANAGERS: Health insurance plans available for as low as $100 per month after 90 days of employment Dental and vision plans offered Long term disability insurance 401k Company paid life insurance policy Paid time off Discounted shift meal and generous discount when dining as a guest Employee initiatives, including company massage therapist and discounted gym membership Training and career growth opportunities Free online mental health therapy (unlimited text messaging and two optional 30-minute live video therapy sessions per month) through our partner, TalkSpace, for all employees and their immediate family members WHAT OUR GENERAL MANAGERS DO: Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members Directly responsible for profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions Recruit, interview, and hire staff, motivate and train team, and take disciplinary actions, as needed Ensure fully staffed, fully trained, and fully performing location Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, as well as company-wide safety and security policies Follow the preventative maintenance program for facility, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc. Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment Drive the company goals and objectives for creating a best-in-class guest experience Bottom line responsibility for all guest reviews and guest experiences Are punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance Contribute to a positive team environment Maintain and ensure all products are consistent with company quality standards and recipes Partner with and complete timely execution of marketing initiatives WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A GENERAL MANAGER: Flexibility to work in either DC, MD or VA with reliable transportation Experience managing in high volume restaurants, with a minimum of three years preferred Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms Strong understanding of restaurant operations Robust financial aptitude in respect to business operations Passion for hospitality Ability to lead and develop a team Be caring, self-motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence Hospitality degree preferred Farmers Restaurant Group was voted as one of the Best Places to Work across the Greater Washington, D.C. area.
