GENERAL FUNCTION The Sunglass Hut Director of Finance will be responsible for shaping brand strategy, driving sales and profitability improvements and leading FP&A functions in a highly dynamic finance team. The candidate should be a high-energy financial leader with a proven track record of improving processes and adding value to the business. This associate must have strong analytical skills, ability to influence and lead improved results, and possess the willingness to understand the business at a strategic and detailed level. The leader must also be able to effectively summarize their detailed business understanding into executive level presentations with insightful perspective. The associate must have outstanding inter-personal and communication skills to effectively participate on cross-functional brand projects and partner with global leaders and shared services to resolve issues. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead sales forecasting process including development of key assumptions based on market trends and strategic plans Track and analyze sales and financial results to identify opportunities and provide recommendations to grow sales & profitability Manage finance team in the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts with top and bottom line responsibilities Provide financial modeling and support to Business Development team to maximize current relationships and develop new commercial partnerships Ability to meet deadlines, improve processes and clearly communicate with financial and non-financial partners Lead month-end closed process in partnership with accounting and provide status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data Present Weekly business reporting package and insights to Executive Leadership Team Leads the financial modeling for long-range strategic plans Coach and develop future financial/business leaders Lead and participate on transformative brand projects with cross functional partners Demonstrated leader and team player to partner with other Luxottica brands and global teams Interpersonal skills Influencing and negotiation skills Conflict resolution BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BBA or MBA in Finance or Accounting 10 years experience in related field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Finance and retail industry experience preferred Outstanding business acumen and critical thinking skills; brings logical solutions to business issues (not just financial) Business leader with broad financial background (FP&A, accounting, M&A, etc.) Solid analytical skills with ability to breakdown complex issues into key business drivers Financial and management reporting skills can develop easy to understand reporting with insightful perspective Presentation skills; experienced in creating and delivering presentations for senior management Proven track record of improving processes and creating value beyond their immediate area of influence Strong drive and sense of urgency Pay Range: 172,116.40 - 252,092.00 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
