Our experienced team of passionate and knowledgeable engineers delivers timely, efficient, creative, and cost-effective solutions that not only benefit our clients but also enhance our communities.Job Type: Full-Time , ExemptPay: Competitive, SalaryBenefits:Company Sponsored Retirement PlanHealth Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision)Employee Assistance ProgramLife, long-term/short-term disability insuranceVacation TimeEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Engineering site surveys and analysisFeasibility studiesLoad studies and energy analysisComputer Aided DraftingComputer-Aided Drafting Quality ControlEngineering Quality ControlLead/support product design reviewsLead quality improvement initiatives for projectsGreat ability to read and interpret short circuit and protective device coordination studiesDetailed design of power distribution systems, including but not limited to: Medium voltage protective relaying, Medium voltage substation, Service entrance switchboards, Engine generators, Uninterruptible power supply systems, Monitoring and controls systems, Lighting and lighting control systems, Fire alarm and security systemsDevelop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical & instrument diagrams (E&IDs)Perform equipment selections, load calculations, control diagrams, systems narratives, commissioning planning and execution, and creating specification documentsUtilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutionsAssist in the development and review of custom designs and sequencesDevelop and implement integrated systems testing procedures and commissioningAssist with Project management to deliver projects on time and within budgetWork with Clients, Salesman, Managers, and Engineers to coordinate project designsWork with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate tradesAttend job meetings & coordinate activities as requiredAttend training as requested to further enhance your dutiesTrain and mentor entry and mid-level engineersMinimum Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to work accurately, with attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibilityExcellent computer knowledge and advanced skills using CAD and Microsoft Word and Excel are requiredEducation & Experience:BS in Electrical EngineeringHold a current, active PE license in PennsylvaniaLicensure in the additional state(s) is an advantage7 years of experienceExperience with REVIT is an advantage.Pre-ScreenUpon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.License & Certifications:Driver License Preferred, but not required.Physical Requirements:The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
