Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee the renovation of a small warehouse that has suffered fire damage. This role involves managing daily activities on-site, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the project stays on track. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior finishings within a white box retail setting. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and coordination of the construction site. Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion. Prepare and submit daily reports. Order materials as needed for the project. Manage subcontractors and ensure their tasks are completed on time. Schedule and oversee inspections and permits. Ensure daily safety protocols are followed on-site. Coordinate various site activities to ensure smooth workflow. Essential Skills Proven experience in site construction and construction management. Strong experience in interior construction and tenant improvement projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints and plans. Experience in subcontractor management. Ability to write detailed daily reports. Knowledge of inspection and permit scheduling processes. Expertise in material ordering and jobsite safety management. Proficient in schedule and budget management. OSHA 30 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 3 years of experience managing commercial interiors projects as a superintendent. Strong ability to read and interpret plans and drawings. Experience managing multiple subcontractors on small, fast-paced projects. Excellent report writing and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of construction codes and permitting processes. Work Environment This role requires on-site work, either at a project desk or out of a truck. You will be part of a small project team, handling small-scale, fast-paced jobs within the MD, DC, and NOVA markets.
