Job Summary: The Commercial Underwriting Specialist will work closely with the Casualty Product Manager and AVP on promoting profitable growth, product development, risk management, and underwriting governance. Responsibilities include ongoing analysis, monitoring results, collaborating with partners, and developing underwriting, pricing, and product strategy to meet clients' needs. Maintains and improves specific casualty insurance product line Provides expertise to field underwriting Monitors rate adequacy and works with the Actuarial team Supports product development and pricing strategy Collaborates with internal departments Assists in compliance specifications and initiatives Designs and supports training Qualifications: College Degree preferred or equivalent experience plus CPCU, ARM, AU or other designation-related coursework Minimum of 5 years in insurance strongly preferred Knowledge of ISO, NCCI, and independent state bureau requirements Extensive Personal Computer skills Salary range of $105k - $120k.
