Description Senior DevOps Engineer - Downtown Columbus, Ohio (HYBRID) The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is one of the top pension systems in the United States. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT projects, ensuring that our systems are highly available, reliable, and scalable. What You'll Do As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure, tools, and processes. You will collaborate with our Applications Development team, our IT Operations, and our IT Infrastructure teams to streamline the software delivery pipeline, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance system performance. Your role will encompass key responsibilities such as Infrastructure Automation, Continuous Integration/Deployment, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving, and mentoring junior team members. Click here for full job details What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field along with at least 4 years of related job experience in systems administration, application development, operations, application infrastructure and database management Have a strong proficiency in shell or python scripting, task automation, and continuous integration development Have extensive working experience with development, deployment, build and release tools Be able to properly formulate, code, and test Boolean Logic Bring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong expertise in automation, continuous integration, and infrastructure as code Experience with the following tech stack: Source Control Management, Jenkins or CI/CD, Build Automation tools (Maven or Gradle), Scripting Languages (Python, Groovy or PowerShell), Configuration Management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet), REST API Interaction/Consumption, Linux What we offer to you: A rewarding career with a stable organization A comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary range of $94,140.80 - 117,644.80 with room to grow!
