Job Overview We are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help us scale our platform and improve our deployment processes. As a Site Reliability Engineer at DataSnipper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform hosted on AWS. You will assess our current infrastructure, enhance our deployment pipeline, and contribute to transitioning towards a more robust multi-region architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development processes, automate deployment pipelines, and implement best practices in cloud infrastructure management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement in our operations What you will do Assess the current AWS infrastructure and plan for future scalability, potentially moving towards a multi-region setup. Improve and automate deployment processes within the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, to ensure seamless integration of new features. Develop IAC to provision and manage cloud resources Work with both relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance. Implement event-driven architecture principles to enhance system responsiveness and scalability. Provide support for incident resolution, performance tuning, and system optimization. What you will bring Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure in AWS Experience with Azure is a significant plus. Proficient in Terraform, AWS CDK, and Cloud Formation Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitLab; knowledge of GitHub pipelines is also acceptable. Strong coding skills in Python, or C#, or Node.js. Solid understanding of network protocols and distributed systems architecture. Experience working with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB). Familiarity with Grafana and DataDog is beneficial. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience in building automated solutions for operational tasks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
