Senior Financial Controller

Location Description: Michael Foods, Inc. is located in the Village of West Jefferson, OH, just minutes from Columbus. We are committed to our employees, community, and environment. Responsibilities: Lead accounting & finance activities including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility for the location. Oversee accounts payable, inventory costing, and SOX compliance. Manage customer relationships related to financial aspects including pricing and monthly reporting for customer contracts. Provide leadership and supervision of cost accounting and accounts payable staff. Assist in internal and external audit activities. Contribute to strategic objectives of the business and support Corporate Finance & Accounting Leadership. Qualifications: College degree in Accounting or Finance. 7-10 years of accounting/finance experience required; full P&L oversight preferred. Experience in manufacturing industry & cost accounting experience. Demonstrated aptitude for effectively supervising and directing the work of others. Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and computer technologies; experience with SAP a plus.
