Responsibilities: Work independently to clean, lubricate, troubleshoot, and repair machinery Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Perform building maintenance tasks including plumbing, welding, and general upkeep Repair and assess electrical issues and use CMMS system for logging Participate in on-call program and work overtime as required Adhere to safety policies and procedures Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent - Technical degree in maintenance-related field preferred 2 years minimum experience in maintenance, knowledge of ISO9001 standards and PLC experience preferred Ability to use welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools Experience in high speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission preferred Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, use arms and hands to feel or reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on occasion, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may work with materials that could irritate eyes, skin and breathing. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required. The employee will be working near and/or with high-speed automated equipment.
