MDS Coordinator - RN

The MDS Coordinator - RN plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care plans, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating the MDS assessment process, scheduling required updates, monitoring resident changes, preparing CMI calculations, and reviewing QAPI reports. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of clinical experience in acute or long-term care settings, a strong understanding of MDS processes and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interpret financial and statistical reports. Licensure requirements include RN licensure, certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC) and PRI assessor, and BLS certification.
