Application Technician

is seeking to hire a Application Technician for our client in Parsippany NJ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $23.00/Hour Shift Details: 8:00AM - 5:00PM DESCRIPTION: Top 3 Skills/Requirements: Food science experience, lab work experience, detail oriented Location Details (onsite, hybrid, remote; how many days per week in office - please be as detailed as possible): onsite Duration of Project (estimate): 3 months contract only Interview Process: 1st round with Ada Chen by phone, 2nd round with Ada and her manager by phone or Teams, possible 3rd or 4th round with others from team Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate dietary supplements and/or food process equipment with limited supervision. Generate reliable data during laboratory activity. Maintain compression and encapsulation tooling. Set-up, clean and maintain equipment for experiments by following the SOPs Ensure all equipment is in a good condition to conduct product developments safely and effectively in a timely manner Perform routine weight checking of balances. Organize raw materials, packaging materials, laboratory and supplies used in formulation development and maintain adequate inventory. Qualifications and Requirement: Minimum associate degree, and prefer bachelor's degree, or students at a 4-year college with science major. The job requires lifting ~25 pounds The job requires working in a highly regulated health and safety environment, which requires using face mask (half and full), gloves and safety glasses The incumbent should not have health restrictions for these safety gears. Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated with an inherent winning can-do attitude. Ability to follow instructions from senior scientists, read and follow SOPs. Excellent communications and presentation skills - written and verbal; fluent in English. Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is essential
