We are seeking an experienced financial planner who wants to build their book of business with a local leadership team that will assist with collaborative work, mentorship and strategic teaming. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, 3+ years experience prospecting clients and a proven track record of creating successful and long-term advising relationships. Responsibilities: • Establish strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor and continuously identify, seek, and approach prospects • Compile each client's financial information to determine financial goals, financial status, cash flow, and financial expectations • Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, mutual funds, savings plans, and other financial products • Customize financial plans for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs Qualifications: • Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial • Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is vital • Experience with computer programs, such as MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is essential • Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field • 3+ years of experience in the insurance, financial advisory, or planning field • Proven track record of generating book of business • Series 7 and 66 required, along with a Life and Health license or willingness to obtain prior to start Compensation: $90,000+ at plan commission • Compensation: $90,000 per year
