The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining warehouse equipment and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Job Description We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Seaway Foods in Bedford, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining warehouse equipment and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, with desired experience in plumbing, electric, HVAC, and mechanical repair. A high school diploma or equivalent is desired, along with a valid Driver's License and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Always maintain safety as a top priority. Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using tools and testing equipment. Listen and observe operation of machines and equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems. Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment. Design machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools to improve existing efficiencies. Maintain and repair building and grounds using hand and power tools. Remodeling and new construction of existing facilities. Ability to read and understand blueprints, wire schematics, and technical manuals. Maintain detailed summary sheets of tasks performed regarding preventative maintenance, diagnoses of problems, and repairs performed on equipment.
