As an EQT Intern, you will participate in a 12-week paid "real-world experience" internship program. Here is how the Environmental Intern role will impact our business: As an Environmental Intern, you will be learning how the environmental team helps to preserve and protect the license to operate for a premier natural gas producer. After your introduction to oil and gas production facilities and equipment, you will gain exposure to both air permitting and spill prevention activities as well as gain valuable knowledge about methane monitoring and reduction opportunities. The Intern responsibilities include but arenot limited to: Perform engineering calculations in support of permitting initiatives Analyze reports, data and other technical information Support compliance initiatives with technical evaluations and recommendations Assist with evaluation of Best Practices for Responsible Gas Development initiatives Assist with deployment of improvement projects Conduct field investigations as a member of a field team Support the EHS department Required Experience and Skills: Working toward a bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemical or Environmental Engineering required Must have at least completed sophomore year at an accredited 4-year degree program prior to the start of the internship Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based applications and ability to conduct data analysis using spreadsheets Strong understanding and application of mathematical concepts Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
