Registered Nurse (RN), OB Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12 hours shifts with EOW and on call Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Department/Unit Summary Conemaugh's Obstetric and Pediatric Unit offers services to expecting mothers including labor and delivery, newborn couplet care, pediatrics, and gynecological needs. The unit consists of 7 labor and delivery beds, 4 triage beds, and 14 mother/baby couplet rooms. We have midwives in house 24/7, along with OB/GYN physicians and Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians covering daily. The unit has the support of inpatient and outpatient lactation services with lactation consultants and counselors covering. The unit has a dedicated Nurse Educator for structured education and live drills planned throughout the year. As an RN, you will enjoy structured self-scheduling by rotation of day/night schedule, rotation of holidays, and daily support of management, supervisor and charge nurses. Additional requirements include: · Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. · Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course or acquire during introductory period. Must be maintained every 2 years · Neonatal Resuscitation Certification or acquire during introductory period.
