POSITION SUMMARYThe Facilities Supervisor is responsible for building and grounds maintenance, facility housekeeping, continuous improvement initiatives, & vendor relations. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Regular building maintenance and repairsSupervise & develop building and grounds employeesIdentify & realize cost improvement opportunitiesVendors relationships to maximize value & mitigate risk to the companyRemodeling expansion projects of the building.Maintain the aesthetics and cleanliness of the facility (interior and exterior)Manage and direct the cleaning activitiesMaintain a safe environment for building occupants and visitorsConduct regular building inspections and prepare reportsEnsure facility complies with applicable policies, regulations, building codes and expectationsHire and discipline all department employeesDevelop employees through performance management system and career path or development plansResolve personnel issues andor conflictsOpen and close building as requiredOther duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent of 5+ years' work experience3+ years of Facilities leadership experience Strong computer software skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)Effective communication, influencing skills and decision-making abilityTrouble shooting experienceStrong attention to detailExperience establishing programs and processes to improve equipment preventative maintenance programsCORE VALUESHonorable: Honest, fair, ethicalQuality Minded: Committed to excellence and continuously improvingProfessional: Respectful, reliable, responsibleCustomer Focused: Appreciative, service focusedLoving: Caring, kindHardworking: Dedicated, passionate PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWalk up to a ¼ mile at a time.Bend, squat, reaches as needed.Have good visioncorrected to 20-20Good Hearing and finger dexterity.Must understand and speak English.
