Take charge of developing and implementing our test automation strategies, build cutting-edge frameworks from scratch, and lead a team as we embark on our journey towards automated excellence. Shape the future of our QA processes, drive innovation, and set the stage for a new era of quality assurance.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute comprehensive test automation strategies specifically for microservices architectures.Manage and guide a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative environment.Create and optimize testing frameworks and pipelines for functional, integration, and performance testing.Implement and manage testing techniques tailored to microservices, including API and contract testing.Select and integrate modern testing tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities.Generate detailed test reports and metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.Qualifications6+ years of experience as a test engineer with a focus on automation.1-2+ years of experience leading QA testing teams, with a proven ability to manage and mentor team members, ensure thorough test coverage, and drive quality improvements.Experience in various testing techniques including functional testing, contract testing, regression testing, integration testing.Experience with modern testing tools such as Playwright, RestAssured, PostmanFamiliar with modern tools and techniques for automated testing of APIs and micro front ends.Proficiency with at least one modern scripting language for automation such as TypeScript or JavaScript.Proven experience building out testing pipelines.Leadership skills to manage a QA team.LocationWe are headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and operate in a hybrid in personremote work model. This role is expected to spend approximately half time physically in our office. You must be authorized to work in the United States.
