Corrugated Container Division Maintenance Coordinator The opportunity: Safely Maximize the Machine Center Uptime and Speed through efficient utilization of Manpower, Materials, Methods and Equipment is the Maintenance Coordinator/u2019s PRIMARY and most important function. Must have the ability to use basic computer software to communicate, plan, and delegate tasks to the maintenance team and communicate with supervisors. Maintenance coordinators must be task-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities, and able to competently handle emergency situation. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well. How you will impact WestRock: Work with appropriate maintenance and other plant personnel, to ensure all planned work and record keeping is complete and timely. Provides input to appropriate leadership personnel regarding suggestions or methods that will improve plant/maintenance department purchasing record keeping processes and procedures. Assists with additional maintenance department processes as requested by the Maintenance Manager or other management personnel. Management of maintenance budget. Completes and distributes appropriate reports when required or needed. Coordinates plant/maintenance department materials purchasing applications in order to effectively plan all maintenance work projects. Establishes and maintains collaborative and productive business relationships. What you need to succeed: High school diploma or equivalency required. Some college experience preferred. 1/u20103 years/u2019 experience in manufacturing environment material purchasing and planning desired. 1-year manufacturing maintenance system applications environment preferred. Office clerical or accounting experience preferred. Strong computer/data entry experience and familiarization with Microsoft office programs. Experience in phone and direct supplier contacts; conflict resolution; time and customer service contact process management. Experience in parts inventory management system application preferred Experience in material supply chain management and supplier ratings and qualification process preferred.
