Description At ICF, we make big things happen. Join us in supporting HIV.gov systems and the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative. HIV.gov collaborates with the Federal HIV/AIDS Web Council, which includes representatives from multiple federal departments and agencies. The Council focuses on implementing federal efforts around HIV/AIDS using digital media and promotes coordination and collaboration to enhance the delivery of HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, and treatment services. We are currently hiring an Associate Software Engineer for a full-time position to work on exciting and impactful projects across our teams. The position is scheduled to begin by January 2025. Responsibilities: Design and develop software applications Engage in cloud engineering (AWS) Provide production operations support Build and optimize data pipelines and perform data analysis Conduct research and contribute to innovative solutions Utilize emerging AI technologies to drive operational efficiency Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related technical field Preferred Qualifications: Strong programming skills and familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure A passion for learning and solving complex problems in a collaborative environment Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Strong time management and organizational skills Familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) Experience conducting research, organizing, and analyzing information If you're a motivated individual looking to make an impact in the public health space while developing your engineering skills, we'd love to hear from you!
