This is a permanent role offering a competitive annual salary range of $70,000-$80,000. Key Responsibilities: Oversee workers' compensation cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring thorough case file maintenance and document preparation. Track and record billable hours meticulously each day and assist with client billing, supporting financial accuracy. Draft essential legal documents-pleadings, motions, discovery responses-with precision, ensuring compliance with legal protocols. Act as a key point of contact, providing professional updates and clarifications to clients, attorneys, and other relevant parties. Proactively monitor case deadlines, ensuring timely filing and submission of all necessary documents. Conduct detailed legal research to aid in case preparation, focusing on relevant regulations, precedents, and case information. Qualifications: At least 2 years as a paralegal, preferably in New Jersey Workers' Compensation Defense. Paralegal Studies Certificate from an ABA-accredited institution or a bachelor's degree. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a keen eye for detail. Strong multitasking abilities, excellent organizational skills, and professional communication expertise. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, managing multiple cases while meeting all deadlines.
