Job Description About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Software Engineers Post Trade who will be responsible for designing and leading functions within the Supervisory Tool. Candidates will be leading technology deliveries within the capital markets market conduct & supervision space. You will work directly with the product team as well as other technology team leads to understand the requirements, the business landscape, and the technology landscape to drive the architecture and design of large features required for seamless monitoring of controls by supervisors. You will be building applications that implement market conduct controls and detect market abuse, unauthorized trading, supervision adequacy and more, and the workflow around managing those. You will be building new features from the ground-up including selecting the tech stack where appropriate and supporting features that are already in use. You will help improve team productivity by leading efforts to improve CI/CD process including automated testing and improvements to the environments. This is a hands-on lead role. In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives on selected domains Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives Mentor less experienced software engineers Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers Lead team to achieve objectives Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years of experience with Java, including multi-threading, spring, hibernate 5+ years of experience with SQL 2+ years experience in post trade processing Desired Qualifications: Experience with workflows, rules engines, REST API Familiarity with Web Servers (like Apache Tomcat, IIS, nginx) Familiarity with caches such as Redis & Ignite Familiarity with Databases such as Oracle Familiarity with event driven messaging frameworks using Solace or Apache Kafka Location: 150 E 42nd St. - New York, NY 10017 300 S Brevard St. - Charlotte, North Carolina 28202 Metro Park, 194 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey 08830 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
