Audio Specialist - Machine Room/Mix Tech

Qualifications: Candidate must possess an incredible attention to detail, be well organized, a quick learner, and have the energetic personality to fit into a fun but often hectic environment. Must have a vast knowledge of Avid Pro Tools and Mac maintenanceupkeep. Must have flexible hours and understand the ''nature'' of the post production industry. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while also assisting the Mixing and Sound Editorial teams and managing required deliverables. This is a fully onsite position.Must have previous audiovideo post production machine room experience.Job Requirements: This position demands the wearing of multiple hats and candidates must be capable of handling the following tasks while under pressure:-Audio Laybacks-Audio conforming, generating and understanding of EDL's-Audio and Video QC-Setting up Dolby Atmos mix sessions using a Dolby RMU-Signal patchingroutingtroubleshooting-Daily archiving and backups-Label printing-Pro Tools system maintenance (updatinginstalling software)-Plugin and audio license maintenance-Managing FTP accounts and traffic-File maintenance and structuringorganizing large databases-Mastery of video containers and codecs-Encoding and transcoding using various tools and applications-Network troubleshooting and maintenance-Basic knowledge of and experience with Storage Area Network (SAN)-Set up Evercast sessions-Experience with Source Elements tools-Light dialog and SFX editorial-Help with administrative tasks-Engineer assisting-Soldering and terminations with audiovideo cables-Occasional runner duties, etc.
