ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Champion a culture of safety and employee well-being Promote positive work environment and high engagement Participate in department goal setting and execution Support communication and change campaigns for HR and business priorities Lead employee relations investigations Assist in recruitment, staffing, and retention strategies Lead leave administration and support Workers Compensation Program Collaborate with market leaders to align HR practices with business objectives Maintain documentation relating to personnel activities Perform other duties as assigned by manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 6 years of HR experience with at least 4 in a professional role Consulting experience with small management teams Familiarity with employment legislation such as ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, Title VII Working knowledge of MS Office software; HRIS familiarity; effective presentation skills Travel required 10-15% EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING SHRM certification desirable LICENSES Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior employee relations experience and experience working in a collective bargaining environment preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to perform the following physical activities for described length of time
