Entry-Level Assembler (Day Shift)

Entry-Level Assembler In this role, you will perform various sub-assembly and assembly operations of basic complexity. Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for work Position and assemble parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements Examine connections for correct fit and fasten parts and subassemblies Assist in building prototypes and other basic assembly projects as needed Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations Contribute to team effort by training others in basic assembly tasks Inspect all work to ensure it meets requirements Complete production and quality forms to document actions Skills and Requirements: High School diploma, GED or relevant work experience Ideally 0-1 year experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to safely use small hand and power tools Basic computer skills and ability to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material Physical ability to meet Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) What we offer: Competitive pay range typically between $20 - $24 per hour Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Air-conditioned/heated state-of-the-art manufacturing facility About G&W Electric: Innovating since 1905, G&W Electric is a global leader in engineered electrical power grid solutions.
