Senior Accountant - Healthcare Sector Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist in month-end closing, and support overall financial operations. Compensation : $75,000-$85,000/year with quarterly performance bonuses. Location : Middletown, CT (Hybrid - up to 4 days of remote work per week). Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Qualifications of the Senior Accountant : Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred. 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare accounting practices. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
