Description Leidos is seeking Electric Distribution Engineers for electric utility design engineering. This role is largely remote in nature with approximately 20% regional travel expected. Responsibilities: Develop design and construction work packages for electric overhead and underground distribution systems Review client work and assess scope requirements Perform engineering calculations and provide support during construction Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles Coordinate conflicting utilities and develop design packages for complex projects Requirements: 2+ years of relevant work experience in electric distribution design Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Proficiency with NESC and ability to utilize a personal vehicle for travel Strong communication skills and ability to work with limited supervision Preferred Qualifications: Previous QAQC experience Experience providing estimated costs and developing a BOM Relevant experience with utility FirstEnergy or JCPL At Leidos, we offer boundless opportunities for career growth and development.
