Cloud Architect - Cloud One (USAF)

Description We are seeking Cloud Architects for the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. This is an exciting opportunity to help modernize a global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of critical USAF missions including system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness. Preferred candidates will have experience across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. Location: These positions are hybrid remote with occasional onsite work required. Preferred locations include Gunter AFB (Montgomery, AL), Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA), Andrews AFB (D.C. Metro Area), Wright-Patterson AFB (OH), or Joint Base Charleston (SC). Primary Responsibilities Could Include: Manage and optimize AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle cloud environments Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole Enhance scalability and deployment efficiency through application containerization Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior staff Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience. Relevant certifications and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1, Zero Trust Architecture, and cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds
