Title: Laborer Support Location: Independence, MO Salary: Starts at $20/hour with increase to $23.90 after successful completion of 120-day probationary period. Schedule: 4-10's Monday through Thursday; Days 5:00AM-3:30PM or Eve 4:00PM-2:30AM (depending on department availability) Website: Focus: The Laborer Support is responsible for advancing explosive materials through an assembly process. Laborer Support Essential Job Functions: Conduct visual inspections using a variety of gages to ensure manufacturing specifications are achieved. Operate various presses and perform mechanical adjustments to complete the assembly of products. Laborer Support Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Prior full-time work experience preferred; manufacturing/industrial environment preferred. Attention to detail including eye-hand coordination. Must have full vision, including color vision. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift/carry up to 30 pounds, and push up to 35 pounds. Ability and willingness to work Weekends, including overtime. Location-Specific Requirements: This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
