As part of our global software support team, this role will be responsible for supporting customers in the US and abroad, both locally and remotely. Customer support is provided for a wide range of ifm local and cloud software, hardware, network, and server infrastructure technology. Job Responsibilities Provide worldwide customer support for ifm software products. Prepare internal user instructions/documentation/procedures for the Support Team. Document, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents and requests through to completion. Customer support for ifm Cloud environment including troubleshooting, monitoring, patching and installation. Customer support for on-premise software solutions including troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, installation, upgrades and disaster recovery (backup and restore). Help improve the software quality by solving recurring support issues and working together with Product Management. Some travel to international locations required. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is a plus. 3 - 5 years or more of technical support experience preferred. Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms in an industrial environment a plus. Experience working with SCADA software or other in an industrial environment a plus. Experience working with Linux Environments in an industrial environment a plus. Experience installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and other related solutions. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the company. An enthusiastic, positive, and 'can-do' attitude. Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organization skills. Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings. Ability to travel occasionally to international destinations for training and other purposes. ifm is unable to offer sponsorship for work authorization for this position. Salary range starts at $90,000 and upward based on relevant skills and experience.
