Electrical Engineer - Cement Operations

Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Cement Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the electrical system, reducing electrical costs, and improving equipment reliability. This position is based in Fleetwood, PA and reports to the Electrical Maintenance Manager. Guide electricians and trades helpers in repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical and control systems Ensure operational viability of the plant by evaluating and maintaining proper functioning of all electrical and control systems Design and coordinate corrective maintenance projects in collaboration with the Maintenance Planner Coordinate and supervise contractors for electrical projects Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering At least 3 years of electrical engineering experience, 2 years in heavy manufacturing preferred Strong project management and CAD software skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NEC, NFPA, and ISA Familiarity with PLC/DCS, HMI architecture, and system analytical studies Preferred experience: Cement manufacturing experience Cemat S7 and SAP knowledge Work Environment: Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
