**Not open to any staffing or recruiting services, please do not contact** We are seeking a Plant Manager with prior shell egg processing experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience related to egg processing or egg grading processes. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the plant with the goal of increasing productivity and revenue. You will manage scheduling, oversee daily operating reports, and increase productivity by providing leadership and developing strategic plans. This position will lead a high performing team in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities will include optimizing business objectives comprising of meeting and exceeding customer expectations, profit plan, business growth, safety, delivery of products that meet quality and cost standards, productivity, team engagement, effective management, culture, and organizational capability. Ensuring compliance with FDA, HACCP and SQF audit procedures. We are looking for an integral leader who is people, safety and deliverable focused. Responsibilities Implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization throughout the facility. Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment. Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, production costs, etc. Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered. Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs. Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements. Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality. Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals. Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations for production, machinery, processing, and packaging departments. Ensure that production line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning. Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives. Manage cost structures for manufacturing by keeping operational expenses within budget allowance and investigate cost-reduction measures. Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all plant personnel through Safety Best Practice teams and individual leadership at the plant level. Adherence to governing bodies requirements, FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP. Adherence with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) Experience with MOBA equipment preferred Qualifications Preferred 10 years as an Operation Leader in manufacturing who has demonstrated successful leadership. Preferred 10 years of Manufacturing, Food Industry, preferably in egg processing. Preferred 10 years of Organizational, Scheduling and Planning in manufacturing environment. Experience in leading and following Safety/Security policies and procedures. Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality policies and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Education Preferred BS/BA degree in Business Management or related field
