Software Engineering & Development (f/k/a Application Development/Maintenance)(State Street Bank and Trust Company; (Princeton, NJ): State Street is looking for a Software Engineering & Development to developing enterprise scale applications using core C# and . The candidate will apply their understanding of financial domain and work closely with business and IT staff across BUs and geographies to develop and scale the enterprise applications. Hybrid telecommuting from within the U.S. permitted pursuant to company policy. Minimum requirements: Bachelor of Science degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant technology field; and 10 years hands-on experience in the following: core C# and framework development; and SQL development with Oracle, MS-SQL Server, and/or Sybase.Must have: Total experience must include: 5 years of hands-on experience with the following: RESTful Services & multi-threaded programming; and , WCF, Entity Framework, NHibernate, LINQ, MVC 4.0, Javascript and JQuery; 2 years' experience with writing unit tests for automated unit testing framework, knowledge & application of design patterns and Dependency Injection Container (Microsoft Unity or another); 2 years of hands-on experience with React JS & Web APIs. Must also have: Knowledge of re-usable coding patterns and objected oriented development paradigms; Proven knowledge of stored procedures; Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues; Demonstrated experience in the financial industry; Proven knowledge of Agile concepts and processes; Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment; and Experience leading, motivating, coaching and developing people and teams. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently). Salary: $152,131 to $212,500 per year.
