Summary: As an Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN), you play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to patients at our hospital. Status: Full Time Location: Rochester General Hospital Department: Acute Medical (5800) Schedule: Day/Night rotation, every other weekend Attributes: Compassionate, patient-centered, and decisive Exceptional critical thinking and documentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care with collaboration from the medical team Develop individualized care plans for patients and maintain effective communication with the health team Demonstrate proficient use of electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation and communication Adhere to department and system protocols, as well as regulatory requirements Education: AS: Nursing (Required) Licenses/Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. Pay Range: $35.75 - $48.00 City: Rochester The listed pay range is subject to potential modifications based on various factors.
