Machining Engineer-56254 Job Num: 56254 h5 Job Description A Japanese manufacturer in the Smyrna, GA area is looking for an Machining Engineer Hours : Monday-Friday 8-5 or 9-6 Pay Rate: $23-25/hour (DOE) Benefits: Strong benefit package included (PTO, health, dental, vision, etc.) SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for manufacturing and modification of mold parts, mold assembly/disassembly and mold handling for work orders. This position is also responsible for machines/equipment maintenance and organizing molds and stock parts RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities to include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time at the Company's sole discretion. •Programming for CNC Machines •CNC and Manual Machine Operation •Mold Assembly •Mold Polishing •Mold Modification •Timely response to top executives and any stakeholders request and inquiry. •Raw material handling. •Conduct training for in-house and Customers and generate training material •Communicate with outside vendors for mold and machine parts. •Follow/execute production department road map. •Generate SOPs •Housekeeping to maintain the work area hazard free, clean, neat and orderly QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities) •Associate or Bachelor degree from a technical school with machining concentration; or a minimum of 1 year of related experience. •Experience in CNC lathe and/or CNC high-speed machining centers is preferred. •Experience with G-code/M-code is preferred. Experience with Manual lathe, Manual mill, and surface grinding are preferred. •Experience in Mold assembly, maintenance, polishing, and repair is preferred. •Traveling less than 10% •Language, math, reasoning, computer, mechanical skills, and CNC machining are a plus.
