Collections/AR Specialist

Our AmLaw100 client in downtown LA is looking for a skilled CollectionsAccounts Receivable Specialist (AR) to take charge of managing receivables, ensuring steady cash flow, and leading credit risk assessments. This role is 4 days in-office in Downtown Los Angeles and offers a competitive salary range of $60-80K.Key Responsibilities:Manage assigned receivables, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue balances.Track collection activities and update account statuses in the firm's systems.Collaborate on reporting, special projects, and analysis to streamline collection efforts.Address inquiries on account balances, payment terms, and remittance details with accuracy.Support accurate records by updating the AR database, posting payments, and reconciling discrepancies.Monitor collection trends to improve strategies and support cash flow forecasting.Offer insights and recommend best practices for managing unallocated cash.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in Collections or a related field. Elite 3E or Aderant strongly preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and familiarity with accounting software.Strong communication, organizational skills, and a client-focused mindset.
