We are unable to provide sponsorship at this moment".Job Title: Tax, Taxation SupportLocation: Jersey City, NJ 07311 (Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week)Duration: 12 Months-Contract Pay Range is $25 to $27.41hr. on W2 Job Description: HybridThe principal accountabilities of this position is to support all aspects of tax filings in our global markets for our Stock PlanRetirements business under Shareworks by concentrating on the US markets initially. Currently our global markets include Canada, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and New Zealand. The incumbent has the necessary skills to complete tasks on our proprietary software, Shareworks, excel and third party tax programs, and has the necessary knowledge to conduct research for the different jurisdictions and any new countries that Shareworks moves into.Primary Responsibilities for the role:Review and ensure 10991042-S Reporting is accurateUpdate excel files for accurate reporting valuesEnsure participant data is accurateAttain appropriate approvals, document and confirm successful submissions per jurisdictionEnsure that all tax filings and reporting for Corporate Clients and Shareworks by, are issued accurately and timelyReview IRS filings and State filings are accurateContribute to the annual tax production project plan to ensure that all relevant tasks are captured throughout the yearPerform all required testing on tax forms that are issued from Shareworks to ensure accuracy through preliminary reviewsManage any special handling requirements for clients inclusive of tax form amendments for clientsAudit tax form generation to ensure all forms for all clients have been completedProactively provide project updates to Tax Manager as required to ensure the success of tax activitiesUpdate processes and procedures policy portal as requiredKey SkillsQualifications:Familiarity US withholding and reporting for global employee share plan requirementsSelf-motivated and eager to learnExcellent time management skills during tight deadlinesProactively engage and collaborate with all co-workers globally to build positive rapport to contribute as an effective team member as measured by their feedbackAnalytical, accurate, and strong problem solving skills essentialVocal ability to challenge business deficiencies identified through the tax production processAn ability to articulate issues both in verbal and written form to help aid swift resolutionPrevious employee share plan and tax production background would be advantageousComfortable with technology and technical concepts in a fast paced changing environmentAn aptitude for learning quickly with a solid understanding of the Internet, e-commerce and equitiesA deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous changeAn ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goalsAbout ASK: ASK Consulting is an award-winning technology and professional services recruiting firm servicing Fortune 500 organizations nationally.
