We are seeking to hire a Sales Finance Manager wCPG, Retail, or Food manufacturing experience to join our team of proactive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:Summary:The Sales Finance Manager will provide financial guidance and decision-making support to Sales Channel leaders and broker partners to achieve profitable growth. The Sales Finance Manager will collaborate with the Sales departments to continue driving effective trade ROI, recommendations for P&L enhancement, and efficientoptimized resource utilization. The Sales Finance Manager will partner cross-functionally while assisting in the development of traditional trade and retail media programs, analyzing working tradenon-trade expenses, and provide transparency to all levels of the sales hierarchy. The Sales Finance Manager will be responsible for providing an oversight of the budget v. plan v. actual spend.Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with SalesFinance Leadership and Sales Leadership to highlight customer investment opportunities and efficienciesWorks in conjunction with customer teams to help them improve accuracy of their periodic sales and trade estimates through insightful analysisGenerates, analyzes, and advises on quarterly customer P&Ls for existing accountsProvides financial support for customer portfolios and guidance around variances in costs and expensesDevelop analysis for revenue and profit variance - related to volume price assortment (mix) to provide financial insights of unintended factorsFacilitates solution-driven discussions with Sales, brokers, and AR to ensure appropriate focus and follow-up on topics such as spoilage, deductions, penalties until resolvedIdentifies spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive landscape- recommends business opportunitiesParticipates in special projects assigned by department leadershipMentors' new hires andor interns on processes and systems necessary to perform their roleJob Requirements:Bachelor's Degree required7+ years of Financial Analysis experience 3+ years of CPG or Retail related business experienceCPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Food Manufacturing experience-requiredTrade Promotion Management software experienceStrong Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Advanced Microsoft Office Skills-VBA
