Our client, an investment advisor in Midtown, is seeking an Investor Relations Associate.Job DetailsPosition: Investor Relations AssociateLocation: New York, NY (Midtown)Compensation: $150K-$225K total compensation, plus daily lunch and robust benefitsResponsibilities of the Investor Relations Associate:Work with the Director of Investor Relations to provide high-caliber service to investors and prospective investors through the following tasks:Updating investor materials on an ongoing basis, which involves working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of materialsLiaising with investors and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of capital transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfersServing as a key point of contact for investors, fund administrators, and other key business stakeholdersScheduling and providing logistical support for calls and meetingsCreating prep materials for investment team ahead of meetings and conferencesMaintaining the firm's relationship management databaseAddressing investor questions and follow up on open items as neededRequirements of the Investor Relations Associate:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field4-6 years of relevant experiencePrior experience working for a financial institution in a client service, investor relations, or allocator capacity is preferredProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems preferredSuperb written and oral communication skills are critical for this roleProfessionalism, strong attention to detail, and discretion are essential qualitiesTeam player with a collaborative mindsetComfortable using various tech platforms (examples: Microsoft suite and Confluence is a plus)
