JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Substance Use Services, the ClinicalSupervisor is responsible for providing oversight for the day-to-day operation of the First Steps 822 Substance Use Clinic. Responsible for supervising front-line staff, coordinating coverage, problem-solving, and overseeing daily operations at the FirstSteps 822 SubstanceUse clinic. Responsible for evaluating clinic compliance, monitoring, and reporting. Assists in projecting, developing, and monitoring revenue. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision & LeadershipProvide weekly individual supervision and biweekly group supervision to staff and assigned interns.Responsible for the overall implementation and management of the OASAS clinic.Allocate nonprofit contracts, track, and report metrics to stakeholders, and ensure timely achievement of deliverables.Actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of supervised positions.Educate staff on data collection, documentation, and reporting protocols.Utilize weekly electronic health record reports to measure program deliverables, ensure data accuracy, and provide constructive feedback.Review, develop, and implement departmental policies and proceduresWeekly data entry into the PAS system for OASAS.Assists with the development and management of strategies for program funding and self-sustainability.Participates in assigned internal committees.Attends external meetings as assigned, including but not limited to: Reentry Council and Coalition of Behavioral Health OASAS meetingsOutreach & PartnershipsCreates and maintains linkage agreements with potential referral sources.Conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with graduate schools and referral sources.Attends external meetings as assigned, including Reentry Council and Coalition of Behavioral Health OASAS meetings.Additional ResponsibilitiesOther duties as assigned based on program needs.Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and Saturdays.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES In-depth understanding of Harm Reduction and its core principles.Strong knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practices.Demonstrated experience in generating revenue for clinical services.Proficiency with Medicaid managed care, and other client billing processes.Familiarity with OASAS regulations.Experience working within the community and utilizing community resources.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.EDUCATION:MINIMUM: Masters of Social WorkServicesMINIMUM: Licensed Master Social Worker required. REQUIRED SKILLS:MINIMUM: Three (3) years providing clinical supervisory experience required.MINIMUM: Three (3) years experience working in a clinicalsubstance use program.PREFERED SKILLS:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
